From the remote islands of Kyushu and Shikoku to the backstreets of Hiroshima, he thrives on creating experiences that exceed expectations. Having led expeditions in 28 countries, he always finds himself drawn back to Japan, where every trip feels like coming home.
Destination Manager
Kimi Onodera
With eight years of experience in the travel industry, Kimi specializes in creating connections and expanding opportunities across Japan’s Golden Route, Kanto, and Chubu regions. Passionate about meeting people and discovering new experiences, Kimi has traveled to several countries, though Australia remains on the bucket list. An enthusiast of shoyu ramen, steak, and burritos, Kimi also has a growing interest in whisky and even knows a bit of Amharic. Fun fact: once accidentally crossed the U.S.-Canada border, proof that the best adventures sometimes happen by mistake!
Operations Manager
Vanessa Hasebe
Vanessa is a foodie and avid traveler, always curious about the stories and cultures of those she meets, which is partly why she speaks four languages (and counting!). Based in Tokyo, she has explored two-thirds of Japan and is on a mission to visit all 47 prefectures, while also traveling to multiple countries, soaking up experiences that now inspire the trips she designs. As a Nikkei Brazilian, Vanessa loves bringing her multicultural perspective to every itinerary, crafting adventures that feel authentic and personal. Whether discovering hidden gems, trying local delicacies, or connecting travelers with the heart of Japan, she approaches every trip with passion.

Many of those he has guided remain friends long after their adventures together, a testament to the immersive experiences he creates.
Accounting Manager
Emi Wetzel
Emi Wetzel is an experienced office staff member with a strong background in office operations. At Venture, she handles office duties as well as supporting staff and guides, and, although indirectly, works to ensure that travelers visiting Japan enjoy tours that are both comfortable and enjoyable. She also loves traveling herself—New Zealand is always her top recommendation! She enjoys listening to music and singing karaoke, and when she cooks, her Bose speaker brings the kitchen to life, turning it into her own personal concert venue!
Purchasing Manager
Asako Osawa
With over 15 years of experience in group reservations and hospitality, Asako Osawa ensures seamless and well-coordinated accommodations for travelers in Japan. Based in the Gold Coast Australia, but with a connection to Tokyo, she specializes in optimizing hotel arrangements to create smooth and enjoyable experiences for group tours.
